From Pumphouse to Point B (course 1) - 445 m

Description of the Property

The site where the proposed reservoir is owned by the barangay.

Discussion with the Brgy Captain

The Water District asked for the permission of construction of the proposed reservoir to the barangay chairman since the lot is owned by the barangay. The barangay captain permits the construction of the reservoir with estimated 20m x 20m area but to be approved by the other council and the barangay people itself. But, nonetheless the captain assured to the water district of the construction of the reservoir.

Negotiation with the barangay council and people is on going.

Routes A and B

The Water Distict introduces 2 routes for the pipe laying from the reservoir to the pipe connections. Route A is easier for pipe laying since the water district had already pipes overlayed from the Pumphouse to Point A (course 2) (Interjection to Calutan Proper) but regarding to conversation to the lot owners of the properties that will be hit of the activity will be another problem since the water district assumes that these lot owners will not allow pipe laying without compensation. And, it will take time to talk and having an agreement to these lot owners.

Whereas, for Route B, from Point B (Interjection going to Calutan Proper) to the proposed reservoir will not be a problem since this route is already acquired by the barangay. The consequence will be, the water district will have to overlay pipes  from the pumphouse to Point B (course 1) given that there is no existing pipes overlayed of this course.
